The Ghana Progressives Hotels Association (GHAPROHA) recently held its annual National Executive Council meeting near Tema, focusing on unity and support for government initiatives to enhance the hospitality sector. National President Emmanuel Geadda Asando stressed the importance of collaboration among members to address industry challenges. He highlighted the need for stable electricity and water supplies, urging the Public Utility and Regulatory Committee to address rising costs. Rev. Geadda also affirmed GHAPROHA's commitment to the government's 24-hour economy policy, which he believes will foster growth in the hospitality and tourism industries.
Charles Adu Gyamfi, President of the Ghana Tourism Federation, emphasized the need for innovative strategies and strong membership engagement to sustain the hospitality business. He noted the sector's vital role in Ghana's economic development and the importance of adapting to global trends while supporting government policies.
